- Place cookware on stove and heat on medium/medium-high until surfaces are hot, but not smoking.

- Continue heating just until smoke begins to appear from the cookware.
- Remove cookware from the heat source and let cool until next use.
Oven Seasoning Guide:
- Pre-heat oven to 425F
- Wash cast iron as you normally would. Be sure to remove all food and loose pieces
- Completely dry cookware surfaces with towel/napkin or by leaving in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
- Using our Seasoning Oil Blend, apply a light coat to all surfaces of the cookware with a cloth or paper towel. Less is More
- If you do see pooling of oil occur, it is highly recommended to wipe this out with a cloth/napkin. Less is more with seasoning cookware.
- Pooling often leads to a "sticky" feeling surface, minor stickiness will not significantly affect the seasoning and over time it will level out.
- If cast iron is very hot, oils may smoke upon applying - this is okay.
- Place cookware back inside the oven face down and set time for 1 hour
- After 1 hour Inspect cookware. You should not see any pooling and the surface should be a matte in color and appear to be "dry" looking
- If pooling has occurred and the seasoning looks "rough", "textured", "wet", or "sticky" place back in over for another 30 minutes
-
Repeat this step until cast iron is no longer "glossy" and appears "dry
- Turn off oven and let cookware naturally cool.
